Mission Statement
Healthcare is a vital component of a community's quality of life. Prairie Lakes Healthcare Foundation exists to raise funds with which to support and advance the health services available to the Watertown area through Prairie Lakes Healthcare System.

To advance healthcare in the future requires an investment today.

The Prairie Lakes Healthcare Foundation, founded in 1979, is our response to the challenges brought about by changes. It is the investment center for advancing healthcare in our seven-county area.

By contributing to the foundation, donors are providing lifesaving care for thousands of people, right here in our area. One hundred percent of the gifts are used in this region, and each gift to the non-profit foundation is tax deductible.

Foundation gifts are in use today at Prairie Lakes Healthcare System. They include mammography equipment, fetal monitoring equipment, kidney dialysis equipment, a pediatric bronchoscope, rehabilitation equipment, phototherapy lights at the Cancer Center and a lithotripter, used to dissolve kidney stones within the body.
