Prairie Lakes Healthcare System (PLHS) is pleased to announce the new Director of Medical/Surgical/Pediatrics, Jennifer Briggs. Briggs’s position oversees the unit that cares for adult and pediatric patients staying in the hospital, often receiving treatment for an illness or recovering from a surgical procedure.
Briggs grew up near Henry, SD and currently resides in rural Watertown with her family. She and her husband Ron have four children and enjoy spending time with family and friends. Briggs holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and has worked at PLHS for 31 years, with 29 of those years as a registered nurse.
“I look forward to continuing my career at Prairie Lakes as the new Director of Med/Sug/Peds,” said Briggs. “I am excited and honored to be a part of the leadership team here at Prairie Lakes. Patient satisfaction and great customer service is a priority, and I look forward to this opportunity to keep moving Prairie Lakes forward.”
