Prairie Lakes Healthcare System is pleased to offer a scholarship to RN students who have successfully completed their first semester of nursing coursework or who have recently obtained their BSN. This scholarship allows for RN students/recent graduates to receive $20,000.00 and pay the amount back in time while working at Prairie Lakes Healthcare System.

Eligibility Rules and Disclaimers

Commitment Scholarship

Must commit to work at Prairie Lakes Healthcare System for four (4) years following graduating with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
Must be currently attending/enrolled in a four (4) year degree nursing program at a college or university and successfully completed first semester of nursing classes or have recently (within the last 6 months) graduated with a four (4) year BSN degree from a college or university.
Must intend on taking and successfully passing the South Dakota Board of Nursing Exam.
Must maintain a 2.0 grade point average.
