There are currently no confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Watertown or Codington County, but Prairie Lakes Healthcare System and other healthcare facilities in the area are preparing for the potential of the new coronavirus outbreak to hit.

“There is active testing out of this hospital in this county — there have not been any confirmed cases,” said Svien Senne, PLHS pulmonologist. “We are testing as medically indicated and per the guidelines that are given to us from state and local governmnt.”
