Meet Maggie, a cancer survivor with two kids, a supportive fiancée and loving family. On June 13, 2014 she was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. During this time she drew hope from staff at the Prairie Lakes Cancer Center and was strong not only for herself, but for her kids and family.
Fast forward to today and she is living as an inspiration to many with her positive light on life and giving to cancer patients in the Watertown area. Maggie spear heads a project that gives tie blankets to Cancer Center patients. Together with Sparton and the Prairie Lakes Healthcare Foundation, she has raised funds for the materials and has organized several events to make the blankets.
