Pediatric Medicine

Prairie Lakes Brown Clinic offers primary care for children from infants to teens. Our team of family doctors & pediatrician are here to keep your kids feeling their best through recurring well-child visits, scheduled vaccinations, access to Kids Kare for cold and flu, and parenting support for child-related concerns.

Well-Child Care

Keep your infant, child, and teen healthy and on track by scheduling regular well-child visits. These visits allow early detection of health issues, development tracking, immunizations, physical exam, and any necessary screenings.

It is recommended that children have well-child visits at the following ages:

  • 3 to 5 days old
  • 2 to 4 weeks
  • 2 months
  • 4 months
  • 6 months
  • 9 months
  • 12 months (1 year old)
  • 15 months
  • 18 months
  • 24 months (2 years old)
  • 30 months

Once children reach 3 years old, it is recommended they see their pediatrician/primary care provider annually.

Immunizations

Vaccines help to keep your child and those around them healthy by protecting against infectious diseases. They safely boost the body’s immune system to fight these diseases.

Sports Physicals

Sports physicals ensure your athlete is ready to safely participate in activites and avoid injury. These screenings check for medical conditions or injuries which may be affected by athletic activity. Sports physicals may be required by your school or organization before your child can participate. Prior to the exam, the following forms must be completed and signed by the student's guardian:
