The 2025 Watertown School District Health Fair, held on April 25, was a well-attended and informative event featuring over 40 health & wellness booths—and PLHS was proud to represent 7 of them!
Our teams had the opportunity to showcase a wide range of specialties, including:
- General Surgery
- ENT (Ear, Nose & Throat)
- Nutrition
- Rehabilitation Services
- Cancer Center
- Cardiology/Cath Lab
- Primary Care with blood pressure checks
In addition to our booths, 5 of our providers gave educational talks on a variety of health topics:
- Dr. Jon McAreavey, Primary Care – Advance Directives: Planning for the Future
- Dr. Kris Johnson, General Surgery – Understanding Acid Reflux
- Travis Erickson, DNP, Cardiology – Heart Health
- Chelsea Hodenfield, OT, Occupational Therapy– Preventing Overuse Injuries
- Haley Rowland, PT, Physical Therapy – Understanding Pelvic Health
With over 350 Watertown School District employees in attendance, it was a fantastic opportunity to connect with our community, share valuable health information, and highlight the wide range of services we offer at Prairie Lakes Healthcare System.
We’re thankful for the opportunity to support local educators and staff, and we look forward to continuing to share our expertise and resources with the community in the future.
