Prairie Lakes Healthcare System is offering a free educational session available for the public to learn about advanced directives. Advanced directives are forms that outline the care individuals would like to receive or not receive if he or she is unable to express their desires for healthcare.
The session “Advanced Directives – What, Why & How” will be held at Prairie Lakes Hospital in the MOB Conference Center on Tuesday, March 27th at 10:00 am. In honor of March being National Social Worker month, the Social Workers at Prairie Lakes Healthcare System present this event as an opportunity for the public to learn about healthcare planning options, ask questions, and complete their Living Will and Power of Attorney. Attendees should bring a picture ID card.
