- Use whole wheat flour (equivalent amounts)
- Replace 1 egg with 2 egg whites for less cholesterol
- Substitute ½ cup of applesauce and 3 Tbsp oil for ½ cup butter to lessen batch by 341 calories, 51 grams fat, and 55 grams of Saturated Fat.
