Prairie Lakes Dermatology Clinic Providers: David Feist- PA-C, Abby Gietzen - PA-C, and Dr. Jeffrey Smith

The Prairie Lakes Dermatology Clinic now has three providers available for you!

Physician Assistants David Feist and Abby Gietzen work alongside Dr. Jeffrey Smith specializing in general dermatology, surgical dermatology, cosmetic and laser treatments, and contact dermatitis. With three providers now taking patients, wait times to get in to see a specialist won't be as long.

Our Dermatology team sees patients from all age groups, from infants to senior citizens, for a variety of reasons from acne to psoriasis. However, the most important reason to make an appointment today is to schedule your annual skin screening. Annual Total Body Skin Exams are crucial in order to detect and diagnose skin cancer as early as possible and are recommended by the American Academy of Dermatology for anybody over 18 - especially those that have a history of extensive sun exposure or use of tanning beds. Physician Assistant David Feist recently spoke to KXLG to explain the warning signs, treatments, and risks of skin cancer. You can listen to the entire radio interview at the link below.

In an effort to make our services more accessible to all area residents, our Dermatology team now has outreach locations in Brookings, Milbank, and Huron in addition to the Prairie Lakes Specialty Clinic in Watertown.

To schedule an appointment at either of these locations, call 605-882-7777.
